On the River has earned recognition as one of the region's premier dining experiences. They have been voted "#1 in Brazosport” by local diners, and Named “Top 40 Small Town Cafes in Texas” by Texas Monthly Magazine. This restaurant offers a casual dining experience in a laid back atmosphere. I recommend the mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, hamburgers, and onion rings.

Big menu, everyone can get what they want. Be sure and try the fried pickles. They even have a smoking section.
