Great selection of beers. A little on the pricey side, so great for a special occasion. Everything they make is delicious. Sit downstairs when it is crowded as it is less noisy. Sit upstairs at the window for a nice view of the street. A few blocks down West Broad; an easy walk.

beautiful tavern space, Belgian food (about a block away) Max's is perfect for a formal and fancy night out. Fine dining with Belgian/French meals and a beautiful historic atmosphere. Ask to sit upstairs next to the windows to enjoy views of the Maggie Walker plaza and the beautiful historic buildings of Jackson Ward & the Arts District.
