The museum of Da Nang was earlier located in the Le Duan Street but it shifted to Dien Hai Rampart in 2011. History buffs will want to devote at least 1 hour to the Cham museum, the world’s largest collection of Cham art and sculpture, and was established in 1919 by the Ecole Francais d’Extreme-Orient (EFEO). At present, the museum houses 297 stone and terracotta sculptural works made between the 7th and the 15th centuries. These are impressive works typical of the Cham culture.
