This can be a fun place to go on a day of wandering and exploration. Many artists set up shop here - there's yoga and painting studios here, some places to grab a bite. Check out the website for what they have going on.

Originally the Fischer Meat Packing Company, the Mellwood Arts and Entertainment Center (MAEC) has been renovated into a 360,000 square foot home to over 170 artist studios, 4 event rooms, specialty stores, galleries, teaching studios, office spaces, rehearsal spaces, dance studios, gyms, and more.
