A beautiful place to be, where you can walk all day and not think of what’s happening. I’m not a person to walk but this place is amazing, there is water and stairs and such beautiful views and scenery. It’s for all ages but not for anyone with a wheelchair (rough roads with lots of hills and stairs and grass) A gorgeous restaurant outside which needs to be booked way in advance if adventure and A big day out, this is the place to visit. Only 10-15 minutes drive.

Magical, charming and awe inspiring. Go early because this spectacular garden takes ALL day and wear comfortable walking shoes. I love to start with breakfast and a glass of something bubbly. Tip: Follow all pathways and hints of pathways and you will be rewarded.

This is a highly recommended local attraction. It is approx 25 mins travel time from Bathurst. There is lots of parking for visitors to the garden. As well as the magnificent gardens, their is a cafe, serving Breakfast and Lunch and coffee/tea. The stunning gardens are worth seeing in any season. They are especially viewable in the Spring. The size is vast. Prior to visiting visit the Mayfield Website. The Opening hours are 9:00am - 4:00pm. Daily.
