If you want to take a tram ride into Southport, Surfers Paradise or Broadbeach, this is the way to go. Approx 12-14 min walk from my front door, it's one of the most convenient ways to get around. It now also goes to Helensvale train station, so you can now go all the way to Brisbane international airport from this one spot.

Light Rail here accessed by bus from Molendinar goes into Southport, and further through Surfers Paradise where you can get off and walk to the Beach. get back on and continue to Broadbeach to Pacific Fair Shopping Centre. Also goes in the opposite direction to Helensvale Station and Westfield. Connects to the train to Brisbane.
