Good variety in a store that doesn´t look that big. They have ready-made chicken, sheepsheads (Kjammi) and fries to go. Also prepared food to take home to cook.

One of the last cornershops in Reykjavík. Gourmet meat, fish, cheese and whatever else you need. - little bit pricey but great quality!

Best grocery store in Reykjavik. You get everything there. And even might catch a glimpse of Björk shopping her groceries. Buy the take-away roasted chicken and order fries at the counter for a cheap eat at home meal.

A small local market, a bit pricey but is very friendly and has a nice neighbourhood vibe to it.
