One of the neatest natural things to see in Colorado. There is a large snowfield year around. Nothing like sledding in the middle of July. It is a 1.5 mile round trip that is completely doable by all, but if you are coming from lower altitudes your lungs will feel it. St. Mary's Glacier is the closest place to hike, paddleboard, fish, and just take in the scenery. It's also the most popular approach to summit James Peak, 13,294'.
