Coopers beach is just one of the beaches in the area. Others include Taipa, with its estuary and long sandy beach, Tokerau. Karikari Peninsula is famous for its Puwheke, Rangiputa,and Karikari, with their white sand and turquoise sea. Also Maitai, a pretty horseshoe perfect beach. All are safe for swimming, fishing and water sports

Coopers Beach is only 2 minutes’ walk from 3Kupe. It is a 2.5km long white sand beach which is safe for swimming and great for kids or young families. Just over the hill is the picturesque historic village of Mangonui. There are lots of places to eat/drink in the area - and being in the heart of Doubtless bay, there are many outdoor activities.

This long beach is ideal for an early morning or evening stroll. Safe swimming for children. Postcard perfect beach lined with Pohutakawa trees that blossom with red flowers every December. Plenty of fodder for your Instagram account at this picturesque location!
