Excellent museum with links to Darwin, as well as hidden away cafe and free exhibition. Architecture alone makes this worth a visit.

Small but interesting museum with an eclectic collection including items linked to Charles Darwin who was born in the town. Entry to the Roman Gallery on the ground floor is free. There is a decent cafe, Stop, with courtyard seating at the rear.

A well-curated regional museum with a great programmes of exhibitions and events. This is also the location of the Tourist Information Office.
