Lovely Aquarium right on the beach . Tickets are great value as they allow you all day access. Next to Adventure Island so a great addition if you are in Southend for the day.

Why not visit the UK’s first Zooquarium where you can immerse yourself in the wonders of life on planet earth, from butterflies to dinosaurs to Meerkats and of course explore the depths of the oceans beauty.

This place has been much improved in recent years and even has some animals you wouldn't expect to see at a Sea Life Centre, including Meerkats! Top Tip: If you buy a wristband at Adventure Island, you can upgrade it to include Sea Life Centre entry for around a fiver - that'll keep everyone amused for the whole day!
