– Stroll the original main street of Forster. Most scenic access to here is to turn left at McDonalds and drive along Breckenridge Channel past the oyster leases and cute little lake front coffee shops. Park near the Amaroo Cruise Boat but watch the parking times. Stroll along the beautiful boardwalk and enjoy lunch in the park or in a café or restaurant. Follow the boardwalk under the bridge around to the marina then go past here to the breakwall. If teenagers are confident swimmers here they often like to jump off the wharves or swim across the channel to the islands but watch the tides and currents carefully. This is a very popular family swimming and boating spot in the summer months. Google Kids Spot, Forster also great for wet days and right next to Scotty’s Pet Shop.

They have a license to snorkel with dolphins. A wonderful activity. Also the best dive shop in Forster.
