ITINERARIO DECUMANO SUPERIORE [20] - SANT'ANNA DEI LOMBARDI E PALAZZO ZEVALLOS The church of Sant'Anna dei Lombardi which is one of the most important testimonies of the Tuscan Renaissance in Naples.Sacristy built by Vasari.Via Toledo,one of the most important shopping streets of Naples,is not far from the Quartieri Spagnoli.These are a cluster of houses and bassi,built around the sixteenth century to house the Spanish military garrisons stationed in the city.Palazzo Zevallos is in via Toledo too,not far from the Galleria Umberto.Built between 1637 and 1639 by the will of the Spanish family of Zevallos,the building hosts the Martyrdom of Saint Ursula,the last painting by Caravaggio.
