A little out of the way from Arcadia but 1000% recommend. You can do different trails one taking you around the whole mountain giving you beautiful scenery of Mesa, Apache Junction, Fountain hills, Tempe and downtown Phoenix. Highly recommended walking medium pase could take about 4-5 hours. Same park. Same mountain different trail is Wind Cave less than 2 hours to hike up and down but higher incline some rock climbing however fun to do. When you reach the top and hit the cave the wind feels amazing. However known for bees so if you’re allergic not recommended to get into the cave.

For short scenic hikes this is a great park. Can drive there in less than 10 minutes. There is a fee and may require a tonto pass for parking.
