Discovery Station in Hagerstown, a large, 2-story, children's museum, is only a short drive from The River Bend Retreat. Another great option for rainy days, the the many themed rooms cover everything from dinosaurs, space, aviation, baseball, the Civil War, robotics, recycling, the Titanic, and more! Every area is 100% hands-on where kids of all ages can let their imaginations run wild. Make up a story and put on a show in the puppet theater, shop in the grocery store, create works of art in the multi-media arts and crafts center, or play doctor, dentist, vet, or fireman in the storefronts of "Discoverytown". The kids will love it!

Got kids in tow? Bring to downtown Hagerstown up a mile or so down the street from your AirBnB. I'll keep a brochure in the kitchen drawer or on the dining room table.
