Spend a day with a guided tour down the Wailua River then a brisk hike to Secret Falls. When you get there you can swim and take pictures in the waterfall, the water is cold but very refreshing! The guided tour may provide lunch. Make sure you have good "hiking" shoes/sandals (they will get wet) comfortable quick-dry clothes and a bathing suit under your clothes. Light towel, water, and bug repellent should be all you need for fun and a unique experience.

Kauai is famous for its navigable rivers, that facilitate a smooth paddling experience while you bask in the glorious setting. Sea kayaking can get rough and strenuous, depending on the ocean conditions, and is recommended only if you are confident in your physical abilities and have a guide by your side. However, the views in the end are nothing short of magical.
