Nice area to start a in town river float from. Parking can be scarce, but the other side of the river has more parking & some tube rentals too

This is the put in for the lazy river. There are two rentals and paddleboard rentals near the put in. Ride the lazy river past the old Mill Bridge until you get to the portage at the Colorado privilege. Portage around the Colorado bridge and float till you get to Drake Park where you can pick up a shuttle back to your car. On Sundays, you can listen to the music as you float down the river.

The best place for beginning your river float. Kayaks & inflatables are great for this easy, rapid-free float to Drake Park downtown.
