30 minutes southwest lies Inspiration Point, a dramatic bluff area which offers a panoramic view of the Mississippi River valley and the Big Muddy Bottomlands. Near "snake road" which is closed for a few weeks in the spring and the fall to allow migration from the swamps to the bluffs for hibernation. (Keep in mind.)
