The Mount was the home of Edith Wharton, the first woman to be awarded the Pulitzer Price. She was a renowned entertainer and her home and spectacular gardens are a prime example of what life was like during the Gilded Age.
One of the Bershire's most famous houses from the Gilded Age. Not to be missed if you are a fan of Edith Wharton or enjoy hisrtoric homes and gardens. The Mount is a 20 minute drive away in Lenox.
