Where else can you walk across a runway? When a plane lands the barriers come down so all cars and pedestrians have to wait. This is a great place to watch the planes come and go. It really is a real excuse here "sorry i'm late a plane was landing"! When the barriers are lifted don't forget to take a photo of yourself on the runway with the rock face behind you.

Gibraltar airport is just 30 mins away.-. Well worth a visit up the rock to see the apes..
