If you’re headed towards Palm Beach, stop off at this Japanese import shop in Terrey Hills. It’s long been a favourite of mine for kimono fabrics, stone pots and temples, screens with silk borders, and gorgeous antique chests made of bamboo, cane, and wood. Anything here adds a touch of international intrigue to a room. They always have a great selection of beautiful Japanese screens—often featuring calligraphy or gilding and images of birds—which can be used as headboards for beds. Kimono fabrics from their collection can be sewn into covers or cushions to complete the look.
