Popular hiking, biking, running and sightseeing trail. Head South from So. Public Rd, you'll find the trail head parking lot on your right. If you get to the roundabout, you missed it.

Coal Creek Trail in Lafayette - This trail system is right out our front door. Follow the walking path West (towards the mountains) and it will link up with the coal creek trail system that runs alongside the creek. It's a beautiful morning walk.

This is a bike path / pedestrian path that runs along a stream (Coal Creek, appropriately) on the south side of Lafayette. It connects to the Rock Creek Trail, and it also goes west to Superior (where you can connect to other trails). It's one reason I moved to Lafayette.
