GREAT BIKING TRAILS!! Catch the "Central Lakes Trail" right from the town of Dalton and this trail takes you to the extensive Continental Divide Trail. Dalton and Fergus Falls is a pit stop for the Otter Trail Scenic Byway, a 150 mile loop through beautiful country and rich tradition. The trail takes you through 1,000 lakes and wildlife-filled wetlands and to a historic flour mill and other cultural stops. This byway was created to display the cultural, historical and natural significance of Otter Tail County. The Otter Trail Scenic Byway is just one of Minnesota's 20 byways and includes 23 sites, many with interpretive signs, trails, picnic facilities and opportunities to view wildlife. -
