The bridge is very modern so its not everyone's favourite but it does provide great view of the river and the classical-columned colonnades of the Central Market. The bridge has a central pier with glass bottom sides on either side and various modern statutes on it. This bridge is also known as the Lovers bridge, as its covered in padlocks.

The Butchers' Bridge is one of many bridges in the city of Ljubljana. What makes it so special and worth seeing? It is the so called love bridge. It is a place where countless lovers have symbolically padlocked their love and dropped the keys into the river Ljubljanica, which flows underneath.
