Formerly Strathmore tin mine, this excavation filled with salty water and provides a surreal Dead Sea swim experience. Preferably visit on a sunny day and take some water with you to rinse off afterwards. This visit can be combined with Cape Cross for a worthwhile day trip. There is no charge for this activity.
