This place looks shady inside and out. But if it's open... because sometimes it is closed...go in!. It's worth it just for the ability to say you visited Waianae and went into slides! They have the best Tako (octopus) poke on the west side. They also make crazy tasty Puerto Rican style empanadas. Their pasteles pronounced here pah-te-lez is full of flavors like cilantro, olives and tomato. Their pasteles are so good they supply the Foodland super markets. So make sure if you walk in here you grab a foil wrapped pasteles or two. Perfect for a snack or picnic item.
