the raptor center is right here as well, and that is very cool. Easy trails for hiking, and mountain biking, fishing in the Arkansas River

Access to Arkansas River Trail. You can also access Arkansas River Trail at Nature Center Rd and Pueblo Blvd intersection. There's a nice parking lot and access to either east or west trail.

The Nature and Wildlife Discovery Center is a nature preserve and educational center in Pueblo. The NWDC's River Campus is located in Rock Canyon on the banks of the Arkansas River, and includes a blend of aquatic, riparian, transition, and semi-arid shortgrass prairie habitats. The Raptor Center is adjacent, just up the bluffs from the river.
