A very moving experience in the Foret de la Double, the very heart of the Resistance stronghold. Vignettes of the experiences of the men and women who took part in the Resistance movement or whose lives were in some way touched by it are played on audio soundtracks as you meander through this open air exhibition. Photographs of the speakers and events on the accompanying panels. A small museum and auditorium showing footage of the people who were affected or took part in the movement. Unfortunately at the time of writing this exhibition was only available in French so if your French isn't quite up to it you could miss out on some of the nuances but things may have moved on since then and it really is worth visiting if this sort of history interests you.
