Maud Hart Lovelace wrote the books I loved as a grade school girl. The Betsy-Tacy stories were written from Mankato, about Betsy, Tacy and Tib. Their homes are within a short distance of each other in West Mankato. Betsy and Tacy's homes are open to Visitors. I love the memories from the bench "at the bottom of the hill". It's there! Come on over and enjoy the stories come the life.
