Milroy's of Soho

From the outside, this looks like it’s just a whiskey shop, but there’s a secret doorway inside that leads you down some stairs to the Vaults—a hidden basement bar. As you can imagine, whiskey has a big influence on their cocktail list. There’s a whole menu dedicated to whiskey cocktails and another to seasonal drinks. A drink from each menu, of course. I recently had a perfectly balanced coconut old-fashioned from the seasonal menu and the Williamsburg from the whiskey menu—an amazing drink made with 1792 Ridgemont bourbon, Amer Picon, and Pedro Ximénez sherry.
