Amsterdam Sloughs Wildlife Area is north of Crex Meadows. Near Black Brook Flowage, you can see a Blue Heron Colony! Many other water birds and forest birds can be spotted! Drive around to see the waterfowl!

Great sightseeing, bird watching, hiking, etc. You will want to get a map (download from the Wisconsin DNR) to make sure you stay off of private property. Also, hiking boots and long pants are recommended.
