Huge organic supermarket & affordable version of Whole Foods. Especially great for fresh produce and snacks. There are only two of these in LA and the other one is in Santa Monica.

This is the local hipster grocery store where the prices are better than at Whole Foods but the selection is small. If you have a favorite brand, chances are it is not here. But it does have some unique choices for take-home entrees, quick lunches, flowers, fresh fruit and vegetables. I actually prefer Trader Joe's but it's a bit farther away on Hyperion.
