Bridgetown overlooks Carlisle Bay, a natural harbor and the setting for many water sports. Popular Pebbles Beach, on the south side of the bay, offers a pleasing crescent of soft, white sand and calm waters for swimming. At the nearby Boatyard Beach Club, you can rent sun lounges and umbrellas, dine at the beachside restaurant, and participate in the many water-based activities on offer. Carlisle Bay Marine Park is a popular spot for scuba diving, with many relics from old shipwrecks scattered across the ocean floor.

Submerged beneath the turquoise-green waters of Carlisle Bay exist a stunning marine park. Carlisle Bay-Marine Park is a historic bay with numerous ship wrecks, 4 of which are of particular interest. The wrecks play host to several marine species and schools of fish. The park explodes with numerous vibrant colours and diving here is excellent for all levels of certified divers; ideally suited for beginners.

Great bay and long sandy beach. Fantastic swimming and snorkling on ship wrecks! Lots of people. Close to Bridgetown.

The best beach in Barbados. Turquoise bay & marine park with relics such as anchors & cannonballs, plus a lighthouse from 1885. Carlisle Bay's marine park is a popular spot on the island for scuba diving, Watersport activities or just hanging out and enjoying the view.
