Built in 1884, this frontier synagogue served a large and active Jewish community until about 1912. The beautiful architecture and interior of this synagogue was recently restored back in 2008, and remains one of my favorite experiences in Leadville! Quick note, it is no longer an active synagogue, but rather a historical look into the Jewish community that resided in America's highest frontier.
