Large lake very close to this unit. Watercraft (non motorized) available for rent. Very nice.

Favorite Fairbanks swimming hole. Sandy beach and campground.

A great place in town for year-round activities. In the summer you can rent kayaks/paddleboards, go swimming or fishing. in the winter they maintain an outdoor ice skating rink. you can also ice fish here. it's great if you need to see a bit of nature close to town.

A popular destination to paddleboard, canoe, fish, or swim. There are boat rentals at the beach in the summer. Wintertime there are ice-fishing huts, and sometimes a skating rink on the lake.
