This is one of the most famous local bakery chains. Although relatively high priced, the quality of its pastries is excellent and I would certainly recommend it for at least one visit.

Bakery with bread and cake. We have a local one along the beach front but you will also see branches around town.

Lagkagehuset is a bakery and coffee spot you’ll see all over the city. Great place next to the one at Amagerstrand for a pastry and coffee with a great view.

Simple, yet effective! At the baker chain called Lagkagehuset you can buy delicious buns in different varieties and eat it there or to go - it is great if you are in a rush or do not want a big breakfast. We usually eat at the corner of Runddelen - address: Nørrebrogade 120. There is also a Lagkagehuset closer to the city center with a nice view over the lakes - address: Sortedam Dossering 9. It is a 10-15 minute walk away.
