In one direction is thriving market town Bedale, at just a 15-20 min walk, with the quaint village of Exelby in the other direction, at only a 10 min walk away.

The Stud is a cosy two bedroomed cottage in the heart of the pretty market town of Bedale - fondly known as the gateway to the Dales. No smoking & no pets allowed. N.B. Booking is only available in pairs of Monday and Tuesday OR Wednesday and Thursday OR any combination of Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Christmas and New Year bookings 3 night minimum stay. If you would like a longer stay, then these days can be combined, but please get in touch with any questions.

High Oak cottage is a beautifully appointed self catering holiday home situated on a quiet and picturesque farm in the village of Pickhill, North Yorkshire next to the river Swale. It has beautiful views over open countryside towards Sutton Bank and Hambleton Hills. Ideal for walkers, cyclists and for fishing on the River Swale. High Oak Cottage has one bedroom with a King size bed which can be converted to two singles and a bed settee in the lounge which converts to a double bed.
