One of our favorite restaurants in Seattle, Bar del Corso is always buzzing with crowds. They serve the best wood-fired pizza in Seattle, and have amazing Italian small dishes and cocktails. They don't take reservations so be prepared to wait for a table, especially on a Friday or Saturday night! It's worth it.

Amazing outdoor patio space with the best views of downtown Seattle. This is a casual, order at the counter type-place, and everything is delicious! What started as a Seattle food truck has evolved into a brick-&-mortar space for Hawaiian-Korean fusion fare.

Hands-down the best bang-for-your-buck happy hour in Seattle! Stop by Tavolata between 5-7 PM and grab a drink and a $9 pasta dish! That's right, a homemade pasta dish for less than $10. My personal favorite is the rigatoni, but they're all delicious.

Drinks & Nightlife

Located in Georgetown, Charles Smith Wines Jet City has an extensive wine-tasting menu ranging from house wines at $12/bottle to complex Walla Walla Syrah's . The tasting room is in a super cool, huge modern warehouse. Don't miss the Guido Sangioviese (my favorite!) and grab a chicken sandwich next door at Sisters & Brother's if you need some food to soak up all the wine.

Sightseeing

Bainbridge Island is an island west of Seattle that is entirely surrounded by salt water and known for its outstanding natural beauty, rustic character and close location to Seattle. The crossing time is about 35 minutes. For a half-day of activity, I recommend walking on the ferry and exploring the town of Winslow. If you have a full day, bring your car and explore some of the beaches on the island!
