The crown jewel of Whidbey Island and not to be missed. Check out the main park and north beach, for sure, but don't miss my favorite little tucked away secret spot, Rosario Head. Check out the beach right in front of the parking area. In this one spot it's not sand, it's little black pebbles. Why? I don't know! But it's really cool. Then do the short hike out to the point, past the wooden statue of the woman holding a fish. Beautiful views of the San Juan Islands and way less crowded than the main park.

This is a famous bridge with killer views! This iconic bridge opened in 1935 and, depending on the tide, sits about 18 stories above the water creating a spectacular frame for this saltwater canyon. Beneath the waves, ocean waterfalls swirl through the canyon at the height of the tide changes. There are actually two bridges. Deception Pass Bridge extends from Whidbey Island to Canoe Island. Canoe Pass Bridge then span from Canoe Island to Fidlago Island. Collectively, they're called Deception Pass Bridge. You can find lots and lots of hikes and beaches in this area. It's only a 30 minute drive from here.
