While this is mainly a winter destination, there are also plenty of ways to entertain yourself here in the summer.

This first transcontinental railroad was completed on May 10th 1869, when the last spike, the "Golden Spike", was ceremonially driven in. The Visitor Center has an exhibition illustrating the importance of the railroad in opening up the West.
