Learn Hand Block Printing Techniques at Local Workshop
You will meet about 50-60 locals doing the printing work with the beautifully carved hand blocks. Your textile tour is the first hand introduction to block printing work and during this experience we will take you through the entire process starting from carving the hand blocks by the local artisan, block printing by the local printers using various blocks and colours, and the washing.
By the end of your tour you will have a clear idea of the block printing technique and then you can try your hands upon a small piece of fabric (scarf) using the hand blocks and colours . You can carry this printed sample home as a beautiful souvenir of your own creativity.

Join me to experience the joy of riding a mountain bike amidst beautiful views of Dhauladhar ranges, enjoy sight-seeing, cherish the nature closely and explore hidden treasures. You will be provided with a well equipped mountain bike, cycling gloves and helmet for safety. We will ride as a group and will take you to some of the beautiful landscapes, close to nature, lovely views, scenic villages, off-beat locations etc. I will be riding along and will support you throughout the ride (in case of any help needed) to make the experience memorable for you.

1. Everyone to reach and meet at the venue as per scheduled time.

You’ll be welcomed into our kitchen to master the fine art of cooking, following my mom's recipes. Using only the freshest ingredients I'll show how I prepare and make our traditional food. We’ll enjoy Indian drinks, some starters and a delicious meal together whilst I give you insight into some of the oldest recipes in the world.
We’ll welcome you to our home and serve you one of our traditional Indian drinks (chai, lassi, lemon soda, fresh seasonal juice, etc.). The class will begin with an introduction to the spices, herbs and ingredients that we will be using in the recipes.
We’ll focus in more details on the North Indian cuisine which includes dishes like chapati, paratha (Indian breads), seasonal vegetable curries (garlic bhindi, aloo gobhi, dal, pumpkin curry, carrot curry, paneer masala, tinda curry, eggplant masala, baigan bharta, and gutaa curry).
My wife Harshita and I will start with a demonstration and then you will have a chance to make round chapatis breads and a vegetable curry by yourself.
We’ll also serve an Indian dessert to accompany our meal.
There will be typical traditional Indian food and drinks, a good conversation and an informal and intimate atmosphere that makes feel at home surrounded by friends.
We will be happy to provide gluten-free and vegan food on request.
We will also provide e- recipes of all the dishes we cook together.

Navigating the street food culture of Kathmandu can be quite an adventure for most and all that is taken care of on this tour ! Immerse yourself in the rich culture of Kathmandu with a lovely evening where you will explore the local Nepali cuisine with me at places most loved by locals. Tingle your taste buds with Nepali flavors at hole in the wall eateries and experience the real taste that locals eat regularly.
We will begin our food tour at the old market of Indrachowk, moving on to the Kathmandu Durbar Square area that is ever so rich in culture.
One thing to note is that 3 items on the tour will be Indian snacks as they're widely consumed and loved by locals here. If you are someone who is very familiar with Indian snacks, I would recommend my "Tibetan and Sherpa culinary tour" which you can find on my profile. It is completely different from what you will be eating on this tour and will be a whole different cultural experience.

I am Esther Rai, I love cooking different foods. since my child i used to spend time with my mom and sister in the kitchen, i used to enjoy watching and engaging with them in whole process of cooking. I feel very happy and joyful when people love eating what i cook. I started my cooking class program since covid-19 as i had to find ways for financial support for my family.
Dal Bhat, momo, thukpa are the menu that i teach in my class and i do menu as per guest request. My idea through this class is to give experience of Nepali kitchen and whole experience of preparing food in Nepal. I take guest to market for buying all the ingredient for cooking and interact with local people.

Pokhara Day-Hike
Pumdikot hike is one of the short hikes around Pokhara away from the actual Annapurna trails but it is to rural-cultural off beaten hike that offers an ideal way to discover natural beauty around Pokhara for the visitor on a visit, without missing out on the incredible views over the Annapurna Himalayan Range and experience the village life. Our short hike starts in style with a gentle boat trip across Lake Phewa to take you to the start point, where a short climb will be rewarded with stunning views out across the Annapurnas, Machhapuchhare (Fishtail), Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu, which will form the backdrop to much of the trek. The trail will take you up to the World Peace Pagoda, and Shiva Statue through the forest where you can see the flora and fauna of Nepal and past a number of villages where you can experience the daily lives of the local people.

- Visit one of the oldest workshop of zardozi around Tajmahal. Learn briefly about the history of this craft and details and intricacies of craftsmanship.
- Visit a workshop of Marble Inlay work (Pietra Dura) and learn how this craft started with the history of Tajmahal and flourished till the time.
- Walking down the 17th century lanes around Tajmahal we'll visit some households where people are engaged in making garlands and other body jewelry of fresh flowers. Learn briefly about how use of fresh flower has changed with time and affected the industry.
- Visit three generation old workshop of Marble Prachinkari work and learn briefly about the connection of this art with Pietra Dura.
- Live flute performance in front of a 17th century castle - Here we'll talk about how handicrafts flourished at mughal period.

- After breakfast will go to visit Fatehpur Sikri,
a small city in northern India, just west of Agra, founded by a 16th-century Mughal emperor. Red sandstone buildings cluster at its center. Buland Darwaza gate is the entrance to Jama Masjid mosque. Nearby is the marble Tomb of Salim Chishti. Diwan-E-Khas hall has a carved central pillar. Jodha Bais Palace is a mix of Hindu and Mughal styles, next to the 5-story Panch Mahal that overlooks the site- Its described as a "jewel box", sometimes called the "Baby Taj" and drive to Delhi on the way will stop for Lunch.

Night at the living Museum of Kathmandu
This is a nighttime stroll. Since there aren't many activities for tourists to do after dinner in Kathmandu, I'm here with the guided tour of 'Night at the living Museum' .
The tour begins with a gathering in Thamel at 6:45 PM, after which we travel to Ason Bazar, where I will give a history and features of the place. Then, as we go, we pass a number of temples I'll be explaining their spiritual, cultural and historical significance.
We'll also watch as Yogis perform rituals at night for "Shiva," the deity of destruction. Following that, we will view the gorgeous and glorious temples at night and observe the carvings on temples and take in its' histories and meanings. Furthermore we will observe and hear stories of the erotic and sexual carvings found in temples of Kathmandu.
In addition, we'll see the old palace of the former kings, proceed through the alleyway safely, and come to an end at Basantapur Yard at.

The session starts with a Himalayan Salt Foot Bath on our Rooftop Garden followed by a short guided mindful breathing inside the studio. Then, the participants lay down and enjoy a variety of blissful sounds. Traditional instruments such as singing bowls, gongs, bells, and tingsha will spark the spiritual side of you, whereas, the modern ones such as steel tongue, and kalimba combined with creatively crafted rainstick, ocean drum, and thunderbox will soak you in your imaginary nature.

Please note that this walking tour doesn't cover Patan Durbar Square, which requires an entrance ticket. Instead, we are intentionally exploring the old town around the main square so you get a more local, nuanced perspective.
