Helsinki architecture & design walk with local photographer
Wonderful architecture and lively design scene of Helsinki are reasons enough to encourage you to hit the streets. Join me to learn about Helsinki, its architecture, culture and current topics and to see the city through the eyes of a local. We start our walking tour at Oodi, Helsinki Central Library, right at the heart of Helsinki. Moving at a leisurely pace, you will encounter sights as well as the hidden gems through local stories. The tour will take approximately 2 hours, covering around 6 km. When needed, we can take pauses in cozy places such as design shops. Please contact me if you - would like to have a different start time or date that suits you better, as I might rearrange my timetable; - have a special interest of one particular area or theme in Helsinki, as I am happy to tailor the walking tour accordingly.
Professional photoshoot in Helsinki
We meet near the main railway station or somewhere else in the city center. The place of the photoshoot depends on the weather conditions, the location is negotiated before a photoshoot. I know nice places in Helsinki, starting with the city center and finishing with natural areas. If you prefer the center, we can take photos in the park of Botanical garden, the Senate square, Katajanokka, or the Töölö and Eira neighbourhoods. However, if you want to get picturesque photos in the Nordic nature, we can take a walk on the Lauttasaari island or Suomenlinna island (a 20 min ferry trip). As a result, you’ll have 25-30 professionally edited photos within 7 days. Things to note: Before a photoshoot, I discuss outfits or, at least, colours of your clothes. It’s essential, because it affects the result. I send you examples of clothes that will perfectly suit for a shoot in the location of your choice. In the spring and summer season I don’t take photos in the midday, because of the harsh light. If you want to get beautiful and warm pictures it’s better to book a photoshoot after 19:00. We have a long light day in Finland at this season. If you need a photoshoot in the middle of the day, I’m open for discussion. Please, contact me for time outside the schedule. My main goal is that you get beautiful photos from mesmerising Helsinki, which will keep you warm with good memories.

Magical Taiga Forest Hike
This day trip takes us off the beaten path to Liesjärvi national park, a breathtaking landscape carved by glaciers and shrouded by old-growth forest that will provide a magical setting to spend the day exploring nature. The park itself is a wonderful place for foraging wild foods such as blueberries, lingonberries, chanterelle mushrooms, porcini mushrooms and many more. As I have studied here in Finland as a wilderness guide, my passion lies in the knowledge of nature, so we will be stopping along our walk to talk about our surroundings, search for seasonal wild foods, and really enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of this wild national park. For lunch, I will prepare a delicious campfire meal that typically includes smoked salmon soup, rye bread, blueberry pie, and coffee/tea. Please note that the specific lunch offerings may vary depending on the season and any dietary requirements. Extra info: Our drive there will have a bathroom break/coffee stop approximately 25 minutes before entering the park. The walking trail is approx. 5 km and only requires a basic level of fitness and regular shoes. I have rain jackets in case of bad weather and often the weather is much less intense outside of Helsinki, so do not worry too much about the sideways rain in the market square! - Other dates available upon request -
Ice Fishing in Helsinki Region
