Klein Pakhuis Farm is both a Cederberg Karoo farm and a nature conservancy. It extends up the eastern slopes of the Cederberg Mountains where it shares a fence-free boundary with the protected Cederberg Wilderness Area.
The farm is blessed with pure natural spring water; blue-sky days; clear starry nights and utter silence. Varied wildlife thrives under the conservancy ethos of the farm, including Verreaux's Eagle, Rheebok, Grysbok, Aardvark, Caracal, the elusive Cape Leopard.

The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering but is also about 1km from the closest restaurant and supermarket. Hikers, walkers and boulderers use it as a base, also flower tourists. It is ideal for people who come to work in Clanwilliam for a longer period of time. We welcome people from all backgrounds. The house is set in a pretty garden for those who want to spend their day doing nothing but enjoying this or the swimming pool.
