The beautiful skies above Tulum are the same ones the ancient Mayans studied. We’ll meet up at sunset to observe the skies through a telescope as night falls and the stars emerge. What to expect: • With the help of a laser pointer for guidance, you’ll learn to identify constellations, planets, and various types of stars. • We’ll discuss how the ancient Maya observed and interpreted the sky to create their world view, align their architecture with celestial events, and connect with their spiritual beliefs. • We will be surrounded by one of the most breathtaking skies in the region, the same celestial canvas the Mayans used to develop their calendars. As the sun sets, with telescopes Henry or Stella, you’ll witness the magical transition from day to night while we make a reading of the Mayan Oracle and observe the first stars emerge. Community service meets meditation in Tulum

Join me at Los Amigos de la Esquina A.C for a guided meditation session while simultaneously contributing to the well-being of the Native Mayan and Mexican children my nonprofit supports. • I’ll greet you with a warm welcome and intro to Los Amigos de la Esquina A.C mission and the impactful ways we’re working with the Mayan community. A guided tour will showcase the space, projects, and collective efforts that bring this mission to life. • Roll up your sleeves and make your own mark on our community gathering space with a painting, planting, or organizing project. • Once we’ve filled our hearts, we’ll free our minds with a mindfulness session designed to reconnect with our inner child. • We’ll end with a gratitude circle, where you can reflect on your experience, share your thoughts and emotions, and express thanks for the opportunity to give back to this sacred Mayan land. You’ll leave having nurtured your own well-being while supporting the educational and developmental needs of the children of Tulum.

Experience the Africa hidden in Colombia

We will take a cultural walk around the Palenqe of Benkos, off the beaten path, where you will be immersed in the Africa hidden in Colombia. We named it Black Legacy Experience, because it is definitely an essential place for our black history in Colombia. This town hosts a sort of spin off of Cartagena's history in timeline. We are new in Airbnb, but you can check out a bit of our trajectory on IG @blacklegacyexperiences We’ll pick you up, and here begins our journey. We’ll be on the road for around 60 minutes. There, we meet our friend, the native guide and we start our walk. We visit meaningful spots such as the monuments of Benkos Biohó (the town founder) and Kid Pambelé (World Boxing Champion) and the Traditional medicine yard, among others. After that, we conclude with a glorious traditional lunch. We also learn some words in their language as we tell you the story, so you'll be able to greet natives and you'll receive, not only their greeting back, but also their smiles. So, be prepared to interact and experience this community of resistant and warm people. BTW: We manage this experience by private circles for your safety and comfort, so please check your price depending on the number of people you’re coming with. - We will be exploring the 500 year old walled city of Old San Juan, discovering secret corners and little-known spots full of charm and steeped in history, that remain unnoticed to the casual visitor. We will walk through Old San Juan’s blue cobblestoned streets, accompanied by a knowledgeable local architect, learning about how the city was built in this rocky island jutting out to the sea, observing the urban layout, constructive methods and architectural details of the Spanish colonial buildings and defensive structures. In this 2 hour stroll you'll experience historical architecture with an insider, not just as a tourist, since we will be visiting private residences, convents and places with limited access. You'll have a chance to peer into underground cisterns, wonder at frescoed chapels, climb rooftops to explore hidden towers, and basque in secluded Spanish patios.
