It is very centrally located, with easy access to trails, and within a short easy drive to downtown Portland. It is also strategically located with easy access to the Willamette Valley (1hr), or to the Gorge for hiking (1hr). It is halfway between the Oregon coast and Mount Hood (about 1.5hr each way). In other words, it is perfectly located to explore Portland and Northern Oregon!

For whatever brings you to Oregon, stay at Mama J’s comfortable, peaceful, safe and convenient spot. Portland is just ten miles away, the closest beaches, Columbia River Gorge and Mt. Explore North Portland walking districts (restaurants, food carts, shops!) or Peninsula Park roses 🌹, then retire to this hip and spacious basement apartment. You’ll love its cork floors (that feel so nice under foot), creative finishes, and immaculate cleanliness. I live upstairs but am mindful of noise. And, as a basement space, it keeps a comfortable temperature and is buffered from exterior noise! Multiple guests have reported their best sleep ever.
