Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Cottage by the Sea

Enjoy a cozy, warm inviting studio and be gently rocked to sleep by the sound of the ocean waves. A short walk to the beach and lagoon. The Cottage is located across the street from the ocean, and surrounded by the forest. Quiet and private space to relax and unwind. This spacious chalet opens up to a south-facing wall of glass with a panoramic view of the golf course and mountains. Spend your summer days in the pool or stargaze on the spacious deck. In the winter, get cozy by the fireplace and enjoy an occasional snowfall. The chalet is a short drive to popular river spots and local shops. Enjoy the serenity of cabin life with the modern comforts of home including a heated pool (May - October), Wifi, plush bedding, and a fully stocked kitchen.

NEWLY REMODELED! The Country-Chic Blue Room is your totally private, quiet, cozy country guest suite with a spa-like luxury bathroom, located just 2 miles from town, across the street from the Mad River and 5 miles from the beach. Cruising up the long drive-way, you'll be welcomed by our mustang, and adorable donkeys . We welcome guests of all backgrounds and love making new friends. Having lived on the North Coast for over 40 years we're a great resource to make your stay memorable.

Peach Orchard Cottage

Quaint cottage nestled in a fruit orchard, near the beautiful Trinity river. The cottage is set in a quiet pastoral setting that borders always green pastures. There is a seasonal garden lot by the House as well as an orchard where guests can pick fruit in season, surrounded by a view is of the breathtaking forested Trinity Mountains. Come enjoy the fresh air and clear stars! We are also cleaning the cabin using the CDC - Airbnb cleaning protocol to ensure the safety of our guests!

Cocooned by Redwoods, Sitka Spruce and Huckleberries. A ladder leads you to the cozy sleeping loft, where you can gaze at the stars through the two huge skylights. Just down the steps across the OUTDOOR LIVING ROOM, step into the "Shower Grotto", inside an Old Growth Redwood Stump with a Rain Shower.

Welcome to The Wind and Tide where forest meets sea. Our newly remodeled home is situated on three acres of forested cliffside overlooking the Pacific, just north of the seaside village of Trinidad. Tranquility awaits as you take a dip in the hot tub and relax by the fire pit, soaking up the sounds of sea lions, the views of migrating whales, and sunsets and stargazing galore. Tide-pooling, agate hunting, and exploring Sue-Meg State Park is just a short drive down the road.
