On our property we built The Tuckaway Suite, an entirely private guest suite above our garage. 1 bedroom apartment on a secluded mountain property with easy access to everything Stowe has to offer. 5 minutes from downtown Stowe and 17 minutes to the mountain. Hiking and mountain biking are minutes away at Cady Hill and Sterling Valley trailheads. The property has a waterfall to explore and access to Tamarack trail for hiking and biking directly from the front door. Inside you'll find a full kitchen, a queen bed and comfortable seating to unwind after an active day in the mountains.

Waterbury Center Guest Bedroom - 244 Howard

The guestroom room has a separate entrance located off a covered, back porch with a small table and chairs for summer use. There is adjustable heat and cool air from the wall mounted air-source, heat pump. The little kitchen alcove is convenient for coffee or tea or a light meal (toaster oven, single induction “hot” plate, water heater) We live in a historic building. Our neighborhood is very close to Rte 100. Waterbury village and Stowe are nearby too with skiing, hiking and biking.

Feel free to inquire about accessibility, single-day reservations, blocked days or if a proposed reservation is possible. We try to accommodate requests, if possible Trailhead is ideally situated at the foot of Cady Hill Forest; a mecca for mountain bikers, trail runners, hikers, and lovers of nature. We are located just one mile from Stowe's village. Park in our newly paved parking spot right beside the entryway, go down 2 steps and you are in, and everything inside is step-free.
