The green rooftop of Het Schieblock. If you haven’t been there yet, its a fantastic hang out! Just ring the door bell if the door isn’t open and clime the stairs to the top floor. There is a little pavilion on the rooftop where they make amazing food DAK! It’s an Oase of the city, a green bubble with fresh produce, Bee’s and great views of the city. The place is full of colours, games and there is an awesome backyard too with a hot tube and hot bbq chicks grilling their asses of to make you some delicious food. House music from all over the world.. experimental music will blow your mind! Oke BAR is definitely our favourite place to go.. we could ‘rittzell’ you in when you stay with us

our biggest forest :) a bike (we rent also bikes) will bring you in 20 min to this nice piece of nature. It has a big lake in the middle and some beautifull spots to enjoy the skyline of the city.

A small park 20 min away by foot! In summer you will find a lot of festivals and everyone is having BBQ on the grass. There is also the 'vroesenpaviljoen' which has the best spot in the city with a delicious breakfast/lunch menu.

The Luchtsingel connects Rotterdam North to the centre and revitalizes a forgotten area. This part of the city did not count for years and was dominated by vacancy and neglection. With the realization of the Luchtsingel they reconnect the Central Station, North and between North and Binnenrotte. Besides that the Luchtsingel is a catalyst for economic growth, and nowadays the best nightlife area of Rotterdam! The city could crowd fund the bridge by buying a plank of wood to build it! If you take a close look you can find one of Hostel Ani&Haakien!

Floating tree’s! The project ‘Bobbing Forrest’ is a concept of artist Jorge Bakker, who is known for his sculptures and installations with an architectural impact. The Bobbing Forest is made of mostly pre-existing materials and orphan tree’s. You can find the 20 tree’s in the Rijnhaven. Al tough it’s not really a jungle yet.. We LOVE this initiative and we think its worth a visit
