Casey's is five houses away from our loft. Excellent food, and views of the bay. I think they have the best burgers in Door County.

Cave Point is a place to see on Lake Michigan as the waves break along the hidden caves of Cave Point. I've seen many people get soaked not realizing how the waves break along the cliffs. There are hiking trails and limestone cliffs. It's a must see.

7950 Ridges RdThere is a one mile (2 round trip) hike that cuts across this 700 plus acre preserve. This former homestead and guest cabins were owned by the Toft family. The cobblestone shoreline in a forest that feels remote and similar to those found in Canada.
Perched on a bluff 76 feet above Green Bay's waters, Eagle Bluff Lighthouse's lamp brought solace to many a sailor suffering through a storm's gale or the dark of night. A visit to the lighthouse provides a glimpse into the past.

The Cana Island Lighthouse is located on the 8.7 acre Cana Island connected to the mainland via a rocky channel. The tower is 89 feet tall. On October 15, 1880 a terrible storm called the Alpena Gale destroyed seven ships near this lighthouse. On October 12, 1928, the frieghter M.J. Bartelme went aground in the fog at this location after attempts to free the ship failed.
