Ask our driver to drop you at the top of the walk (3kms past the Palace) and walk down to central Ubud (it's easier - down hill all the way!) Magnificent rice paddy scenery.

An oldie and still a goody. Great Balinese food. Definitely go at night to experience the atmosphere. Ask for a table in the garden at the back - a really tranquil surprise off a busy street.

It's not every day you get to do yoga surrounded by rice paddies! Literally a beautiful, huge open-air barn (under roof), the classes are varied and frequent, and the teachers are very good.
